I'm a former radio station production director and music director, television voice-over artist and audio production studio owner/operator. I now teach at a state university and am a sound designer/producer for a television program we telecast from the university.

Music Background My father was a classical music professor for more than 40 years. Took the usual lessons as a kid. I've co-produced a number of advertising jingles with a friend. I began experimenting with Garage Band to fill a void in our TV program. We needed a theme and music cues but we had no budget and no BMI or ASCAP license for Cablecasting.
Music Skills I play autoharp and I play washboard, but I don't play around.
Music Hardware I have the remains of a commercial recording studio including a small Mackie Mixer, some microphones and some JBL monitors as well as some outboard processors, but my music has all been done in the G5, the mini and the g3
Music Software Garage Band and Tracktion on the G5 and on the Mini. ProTools and Peak DV on the G3.
