started playing the accordian at age 8, cut off thumb (it was fixed, mostly, but dented my music career for sure) and became a singer, picked up the drums after listening to my best friend play forever, started recording when the band that was rehersing in my living room said they needed a singer as i was working on my car. proceeded to write with a friend from detroit(etrain), recorded in a professional studio with great players and engineers. wrote a bunch of songs(50) with anti hippies(the dirtbags), until they ran out the door screaming, recorded a record by myself called nothings right nothings left(the zeromakers), moved back into LA, and worked with a band called killer kittie. a label showed interest after our first gig was written up in T.V. guide, said label wanted us to dump our drummer, the bands co-producer and my best friend, i moved to boston. played drums in a cool outfit called easykiller until ii got a job in new york. started writing for a kid band named 'too busy being bored' until they burned out, wrote songs under the name 'add nation', and am currently teaching the craft of songwriting at the ross school in east hampton, new york in the summers. at current i am writing and finishing up as many demos as possible. i hope to be playing the new songs out in the winter, under the name 'glorious accident.
