Bio:
I got a 14inch keyboard when I was about 10 years old. The thing looked like a keyboard but the keys were just little push keys. Basically a overglorifed calculator. But I would play that thing for hours, listening to songs and figuring out how to play them...I was hooked.
In my late teens I joined a garage band and started singing which eventually led to trying to write my own songs which always began on the keyboard.
I am new to this recording on your computer thing..About 14 years ago I had a 4 track tape recording studio but when I saw a garageband demo at the apple store I got excited. Being a graphic designer I already had the Mac. So I went got some keys & the software and that's it.
I'm married with kids so I kind of loss touch with my music roots thanks to my Mac I'm back.
Growing up in the late 80-90s I was listening to bands like Skid Row, Warrant & Whitesnake. I'm into these days stuff like Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton, Rufus Wainwright,
Gavin Degraw, Nickelback.
