Cool video.

I did some checking and you can do tours of the Memphis factory which I didn't even know existed. But, since it's only an hour away, it's definitely on my to do list.

Though the idea of stopping into the retail shop after the tour makes me think I'd better leave my wallet at home...

My wife and I went to the Acoustic Guitar Factory in Bozeman. Montana. It was Very cool and we learned a lot about luthiers. If you ever go to any of their factories, you can't just show up (unlike the Feds) - ya have to get a reservation.

On the other hand, what better place to buy a Gibson than straight out of the factory showroom? Assuming, of course, they offer you a factory discount : )

What I found amazing about the video is how much is automated and yet many key aspects are still done by hand.
