flat earth
Wednesday, July 26 2017 @ 02:34 PM CDT

obviously, the Earth is flat.

just look around you, do you see the land curving away from you in all directions? no. case closed.

all the rest is optical illusions, and political and business motivated propaganda, designed to extract money from governments and the general populace with lame excuses for things like satellites, global imaging, and probably the worst offender, the International Space Station. just look at Google's fake images at http://www.google.com/streetview/ - click on "International Space Station" -- the map shows you it's really at "Building 9, Space Vehicle Mockup Facility". they're not even trying anymore.

I was watching flat earth videos just the other night. By turns fascinating and hilarious.

Excellent topic!

As I mentioned to an old friend recently, given all that we've witnessed during the past couple of years, it has become equally easy to believe almost anything... or absolutely nothing at all. Wink

How many people have fallen off, so far? There is a running tally of doofuses that fall into the Grand Canyon. I was there. I saw those signs. Just watch your step. Wink

There are some railroad rails set into the walls at the rim, painted red, for use as search-and-rescue anchor points.   At one time, one of them bore a sign:   “We might use this to haul your body out.”

I don’t live in Arizona anymore, so I don’t know if the sign is still there.   But you did see and hear about a lot of crazy things – like people who simply intended to stroll down to the river and back in flip-flops.   (In summer they post a ranger a short distance down the trail in a cool(er) shady spot, to turn the idiots back.   Some idiots still manage to get through, however.)   Whenever I’d hike to the bottom or rim-to-rim I always carried a few extra “idiot bottles” with me.   (Of water ... not “to put the idiots in.” )   ;-)
