revolution I

Description
It's the times.

I sincerely hope that the 2-3 following posted songs are not looked at as using the London situation as jump board for listeners.

I am also not posting the songs to hog the new songs list, I am simply posting them because they belong to one and each other.

If anyone see a problem with this, for me, rather unique approah, please let me know.

The songs would have been posted no matter what and have completely sprung out of the work by Bob Geldof and the current ongoing G8 meeting. It's not political to me - it's about a different revolution that must come from and start within us.

Peace!

Lyrics
[ revolution I ]

revolution is near
revolution is fair
revolution within us
revolution, I dare
revolution is needed
revolution set free
revolution for all of us
revolution we need

revolution here i come to you
revolution here i come to you

we need a revolution and we need it right now
revolution!

revolution is clear
revolution my dear
revolution to brake free
revolution we need
revolution for our souls
revolution no more control
revolution no big brother
revolution love one another

Every generation needs one
I dig the whole Pop sound of this, the upbeat, happy feel,
head-bopping beat, and the retro almost McCartney
"revolution I come to you" chorus; complementing the
differing styles of the other songs in your Revolution Trilogy.
The arrangement is a little repetitive in my ears to maintain
the fun, and becomes a bit oppressive in the second half,
even tho I like the instrumental break, the CSNY feel of it
that. You do a good job setting your voice just right in the
mix. (May I suggest adding links to the other parts of the
Trilogy on each of their song pages, so people can listen to
the whole package?)

Oh Mikki
You're so fine you blow my mind hey MIKKI--
You are a most prolific and sophistated songwriter. I admire you like
the beautiful pool of melodies you are.

I really dig this three-part magic. Love, your fan, kelli
