Lyrics
I know you, rider, gonna miss me when I'm gone
I know you, rider, gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gonna miss your baby, from rolling in your arms.

Laid down last night, Lord, I could not take my rest
Laid down last night, Lord, I could not take my rest
My mind was wandering like the wild geese in the West.

The Sun will shine in my back door someday.
The Sun will shine in my back door someday.
March winds will blow all my troubles away.

I wish I was a headlight, on a North bound train
I wish I was a headlight, on a North bound train
I'd shine my light through cool Colorado rain.

I know you, rider, gonna miss me when I'm gone
I know you, rider, gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gonna miss your baby, from rolling in your arms.

Takin it by storm
Some nice country tunes takin macjams by storm today. Drums are just right. Throw a solo over the instrumental sections and this is a top notch track, a mandolin or fiddle would be just right. Nice feel. Ends kind of suddenly like though.

work it...
hey man-
this sounded good - I agree that you should bust a guitar solo over the break. I am a fan of the shuffle beat as it creates a nice feel.

Being an old dead head I have always liked this song - you did it justice.

Love your voice
... really sweet tone to it. I agree with MowMeDown that it needs one
more flavour in there... but this has a great swing to it.

Great Voice!
This is a little rocknroll as well! Really like this, would be cool to hear this with a little more texture!
