smooth and bumpy I love the overall sound of the music, gorgeous melody/harmony, nice orchestration... I really like the lyrics, and your singing voice sounds very pretty, but I agree with Richard, that the pitch-tweaking actually detracts from the beauty of the piece. It seems like a cheap gimmick. I think if you kept the other vocal effects in there, and removed the pitch-warble, this would be awesome! This sounds a little like some of the later ELO stuff. Very nice! I look forward to more from you! ttfn, Drakonis Check out my latest song called Lullaby for the Inner Child

Awesome Smooth and, as you say, lovely. Love the lush synth bed and the different layered vocals. You do have a great voice and I agree with Rich and Drak in that you should back off on the effects, at least on the lead. There are some of the backing vocals where it sounds just fine. But, it's not enough to keep me from really enjoying (and downloading) the tune. Definitely gonna check out the rest of your stuff. Check out my latest song called Bourbon Street Dawn

trusting/not trusting So nice, full of emotive washes, layers of mind voices caught in a moment you don't trust yet so want to be lasting. Hands touching, breathing each other's breath, the world falling all around until all there is is the two of you. Mesmerizing and magnetic. I'd love to hear it without the pitch trick, just to give it a more human context, but the inter-deimentional feel of this arrangement has its own hard to hold aspect that works perfectly with the concept, in my mind. As if you don't even trust your own conscience as it speaks... Check out my latest song called Forge A New Life (MJRF)

More songs in Ambient:
This is very evocative. I am drawn to a place far away from my inner
city neighborhood in Midwestern United States. The ambience is
dreamy. The voice is supple and suppliant. All I would suggest is not
applying that tremolo effect to your voice. Ever since I heard Cher do it,
I don't like it. Do not be afraid to use your real voice. It is pure and
well-contoured.
Welcome to MacJams. I look forward to hearing more of your music.
