Quorovalithia - Antonia's Theme

Description
Quorovalithia is one of the many fictional themes I've created over the years. I've loosely toyed with making an opera out of the main story, but my current librettist skills are lacking in the quality I desire. There are lyrics to this, but they're so poorly written that I decided never to use them, instead opting to set the song for harpsichord and cello.

welcome to macjams
Good job. You've mixed this very well. I like the cello, (if its a cello).

I have listened to several of your pieces, and they all seem to ring with
truth and quality. I am no expert of classical but I do know that I find your
work enjoyable to listen to. I have heard better recorded and produced
music here at MJ but Im not sure that I have heared better composed
music here. One minor complaint about this piece is the tone and timbre
of the instruments. Im not sure that they mix very well. Or perhaps they
weren't meant to. Im not sure if Im explaining my self well? Im am certain
I will be listening to your future offerings.

As for the sound of the instruments, I have no idea what I was thinking when I selected the instruments for this one. I'm still very proud of the final section of the song, but all the same I'm very delighted with the progress I have made since I wrote this song last October.

Thanks for the wonderful compliments to my compositional abilities. Such flattery! :-)

I'm a college student majoring in computer engineering, but I happen to really like music, particularly of the classical or humorous variety (especially Gilbert & Sullivan). I studied piano regularly from when I was 8 until I was nearly 14, although... [see more]
