motor city burning
hey that's the city that's given soul, punk and techno this in less
than 50 years, so that's not too bad either. I guess the soil may
have to rest a bit from time to time. Plus, listening to you, I feel
it's pretty much alive and kicking.

rock on.

motor city burning
it's just the fact that i hear alot of whats coming out and your right the techno
thing for sure, which i cant stand , by the way. haha. but the rock n roll jsut aint
what it used to be. the rock bands are few and far between. at least what im
getting privy to anyways.....maybe my blatent calling out to the scene will give it
a kick start right in da' A** !!!

Rock On
I liked the high energy, the lyrics and especially the harmonica solo! As
mentioned previously, drum could have been a little higher in mix. My
personal taste would have liked a little less effects on the vocal also
but overall good job.

Dude...
... I'm loving this one too. In fact the only thing I would change is the
drums. A more real/live drum sound would really finish it off.

Great!

real Detroit Rock
The person who dropped the 1's on you has no friggin' clue. This is great
raw Motor City rock. Not the most original tuen but that's not what it's all
about. It's about the sound and the energy. You deliver that in spades.
As I said on your other track, I'd pull back a bit on the distortion on the
vocals, not entirely, just ease up on it a bit. Surely there are things that
could be done to the mix that would improve on this but it's the kind of
music that holds up really well even in very rough conditions.

Live
I bet you do a great live show.

You pour out lots of energy, and play that guitar so your fingers must have been smokin'. I dig that straight forward bass and drum groove.

That harp tootin' is worth money!

Cool stuff dude:)

pretty fun song
I liked the harmonica solo and the energy level is good in a Social Distortion kinda way... I wish you had switched up the drums a little more - sticking with a single main beat makes it sound more electronic and mechanical than the song would otherwise sound. Despite the gloomy outlook in the lyrics (liked your dig on the White Stripes even though I am a big fan of theres), this is a pretty fun song and you're bringing up an area that is vastly under-represented here at MacJams.

Don't stop a-rockin'!

rock city
this captures it... but still has a detroit sound to it - in a good way.

rough and dirty around the edges, but has that life you can find if you look hard enough.

i don't know what else to say - rock.
