Description
Just a little bit of playing around with JP4.
The mix is supposed to be an attempt to introduce some sort of searching or wandering scene in a larger, orchestral background piece. Who knows where it will end up.

Okay
Yeah, I can hear the wandering. You've pieced together some nice
elements. I would play with the dynamics a bit.

As far as productio goes, watch the cut-off at the end, and there is
definitely some peaking/distorting happening.

Other than that, I like the feel of the track.

Good beginning
I agree with the "not an insult" Harry Potter comment. It's a nice start. I do find that it's craving some bass instruments to balance out the light higher pitched sounds already there. Maybe even just boomier percussion to support the piece.

It feels like the beginning of a journey. And it's a very nice beginning.

Thanks to you all....
Thanks to you all for taking time to listen and comment.

This piece is a work in progress and was spontaneous in its origin whilst I paid some attention to the England-Uruguay friendly so I wasn't totally concentrating on the format or makeup of this piece. It's a 'toe-tester' (to check the temperature of the water).

More will follow, including another, more complete version of this piece, plus other mixes based on other sets of loops from within JP4.
