	filling your shoes this is a lovely song. pretty personal lyrics... nicely written, too. your voice sounds great! would like to hear a less effected guitar at some point, but that's a minor personal opinion. i do like the strings and such in the back, too. Achingly beautiful vocal performance
Nice job. Your singing in this song had just the right mix of need and dignity. Not easy to achieve. Some people would over-emote all the way through.

I agree with the above comments regarding the guitar. I'd lose the effects if you were to redo the track.

Also, I did find the melody a little repetitive with the first six lines. It was quite refreshing when you broke away from the melody in "What a burden..." What may help is if you sang the chorus once after the first four lines.

And your voice is so great in this that I wanted to hear more of it. Some simple Ahhing as a solo after - or even in place of - the instrumental solo (which I thought was not up to the same standard as your voice) would have been really nice.

Minor quibbles aside, congrats on a lovely song.
