Description
First of all - not really sure about the genre. If you have tips, please share them :)
This piece was done in roughly three hours and I'm pretty satisfied with it. Hope you will be, too!
Oh, and I recommend listening to this on speakers rather than headphones.

Cool new agey feel
Starts out kind of like "Dogs of War" by Pink Floyd, then settles into an
upbeat new age jazz kind of riff with a bit of mystery/sci-fi score feel.
Liked the guitar line near the end. More guitar melody throughout would
add interest. Cool.

nice sounds
Like the Egyptian feel in parts, (best way I can discribe it) has that cool
rhythm.

Cool sound by E.

Thanks for sharing

listening to this with rebsie and eppy...
... eppy says it's too dark to be new age and thinks it gets a bit industrial - i like all the little noises esp. the whooshing at the beginning and rebsie is very busy online coz their internet is down at home!! we are also discussing how to pronounce your name and cannot agree!! thank you for sharing - us!!

3hrs?
Very cool track Einarus. I like the flow this has. Mid-way, that bass line
that comes in sounds great! Nice mix, sounds great on my monitors.

(BTW: I have my own issues regarding genre, so I can't help there)

Again, cool track- I like everything about it.

different
I'm not quite sure...Trip Hop maybe? it's definatly got ethinic voices. Gee
man, you might be on to something. For a bit I was thinking rap, but
then...nah, that just wouldn't work. Keep playing around. Points for
creativity.

The master of moods
There is something unique with your sound Einarus. This piece has your signature for sure.

You've made a mystique and a bit dark mood here. . It's very well done:)

This does what Cydniko also does...
...which is, take what would appear to be disparate elements, put them
together in imaginative ways, and end up with something that sounds
relentless and inevitable...

It's dark, it's got a cool modal feel, but it's also melodic and, in a freaky
way, catchy...

It would really help me, y'know, ego-wise, if you would just 'fess up to
being, say 53, thrice divorced, troubled by arthritis and been-doing-
this-for-decades...

Big
I like the big plodding pulse behind everything else that gives it a big cavernous space. Sounds very like a soundtrack... to something exotic and wispy in a strange landscape. With more rocks than plants, which are all vines.

Spacerock
I'd call it spacerock. It's a bit plodding and clunky when the first
accompanyment comes in. Like the beat is late. By the time the bass
comes in in the middle tho, it ties the rhythm down and pulls it all
together. A fun experiment! Oh, and the song art is similar to my song
"Penumbra", except I just painted that in photoshop.

Dark side of the vibe
I like the blend of elements; kind of industrial, ethnic, and rock. Transitions are nice and keep the groove moving.

Hey mister Man
E, you are the epitome of a star to be... if dats whatcha wont - Now,
the statement, 'I'm pretty satisfied with it' - does this mean, 'just shut
up and listen'... - hehe - We be dense, but we be, not that dense -
hehe - I'll have ta remember that line - But I don't think that anyone
can truly come to this scene w/ much to offer you... - The intent and
delivery are clear to me - So who are ya running from??? Do ya think
that they'll catch ya at some point - Nice synth work, as usual and it is
rich w/ a an array of textures that set the scene - I really liked the
execution of this; you built it up to the scare of the motion to get away,
running.... Lots of danger - I'm concerned for you, or someone... - I
just hope that things don't get any more dangerous then the chase...

Four blondes!
After seeing you getting four blondes, I had to hear the tune and it's not even remotely what I expected. The last piece I heard from you was "Rampancy" so I figured it'd be some kind of piano piece and that would have been cool but this is way removed from that and it's extremely cool too. You've got some really great versatility.

only 3 hours????
I am extremely impressed that you can compose something this good
in only 3 hours! I really liked it. Like you, I'm not sure about the genre
either. It certainly starts out sounding very industrial, but seems to
become slightly less-so as it settles into a groove. But who cares, it's
good music!

For me the ending feels inconclusive; I was expecting something else
to follow, possibly something that would integrate the stark, industrial
feel of the opening with the groove that you end with, or possibly
something completlely different, but aggressive! Just something to
consider, anyway.

Keep up the good work!

cinematic!
hey Einarus! how u doing? i checked out your blog site but i couldn't
understand a word you wrote!!

back to your music, this one has a great cinematic feel in it and it made
me visualise the night runaway scene! very cool. and somewhere in this
song, there is this progressive rock flavour too that i always feel from
your music. cool stuff!

Ein... this is huge... I love the depth your getting out of Logic Pro...
because i'm familiar with logic, I often wonder what I could do with it in
this genre... But all's I have to do is check you out... I don't want to be
redundant, but you alway have an epic sound, I still think you should
be doin' films... Your builds sound natural and well thought out... The
peice breathes and has wide dynamics.... great work here

yeah!
Ein, there`s no discussing bout your skills, but have you ever thought of a bluesy guitar solo bout that rock riffs you`ve composed? For me its a rock tune through and through, with modern sounds, of course, but just rockin`! Great maaaaaaaan....:)

fav'd
a cool intro indeed. conjured happy memories of early floyd. the
staggered lead with that very excellent delay effect = :-) as always a
great mix, but this time (for me) you simply aced the blend of synths
and some of the industrial type sounds/effects. the best was the
cutting saw lead towards the end. to do that in 3 hrs, whew, thats
impressive.

Beautiful...
Your compositions, as i've said before, are very well-thought and they
have the intricacy and maturity that separates you from the boys and
make you one of the men in this genre of music. Like your other
compositions, this has an epic dimension to it... huge and full! Even for
someone like me who doesn't specialize in this genre, it is easy to discern
the great amount of time and artistry that you have employed to make
this piece sound panoramic and make it stand tall among other similar
pieces. Great job, Ein! If you haven't chosen yet a course to follow at this
point in your life, these feedback from your fans should give you a hint of
the direction you should be taking.

Beautiful mood
The piano melodies and harmonies that come in about half-way through
are BEAUTIFUL in terms of mood, chords. Sounds like something that
could be one part in a bigger composition.
