Lyrics
ease you mind, your daddy loves you. close your eyes and go to sleep. rest your head upon a pillow - all i give is yours to keep.

and all the world around you, as blue as all the sky, is sadness here and I don't know why.

purple clouds and yellow moonbeams will wrap around and nest you in a dream.

and when you're feeling lonely - I'll take you in my arms - I'll wrap you in a memory. good night, sleep tight, sweet dreams little one.

you thought you didn't know me - I loved you just the same - if I call you will you find me? good night, sleep tight, sweet dreams little one. good night, sleep tight - sweet dreams little one.

goodnight, sleep tight - goodbye, my son.

How About...
"Dream Dad"?

Another terrific piece, Brian.

My only suggestion would be to bring the vocal up in the mix.

Keep up the fine work. ;-)

incredible...don't change a thing!
Great execution of a great tune. Maybe the best instruments I've heard
yet. Man do you have my ear. I'm pulling your stuff apart as I did the
Beatles music for decades. Boy if you're not ready for prime time.
At least your giving everyone something to reach for!
Keep sharing...my pod is filling up with great tunes. RP

Hey Brian just got the alert that you've posted something new. Excellent
as always. I agree with Joe that as the band comes in the vocal seems to
compete some.

As an alt, simplify the solo. A longer phrase melodic lead would be very
stirring.

I did overdo it, didn't I? (the lead guitar) - it's pretty sloppy and reckless, but I
was going for emotion over skill. i'm a patchy lead guitar player also.

It's all good B. Great passion. Both Chris B and I have been watching your
success here and I'm very jeleous of course. No it's awesome and your music is
really great as others have said.

Oh there's a song you need to post here. I was listening to that tune "Take me
home" That's a great tune also. So I'll look forward to having that pop up on my
email notices.

Catch you later Brian, and congrats on all the great comments.

Brian, I really am new to MacJams, (about a month now)but certainly not new to music. (40 yrs. -) I really have to question how viable this site is if you are not getting the recognition you deserve, if only by a few smart people who recogize true talent when they hear it. I say this because your writings and playing deserve to go much further. It's one thing when someone has one good piece to offer...but your work is consistantly the best I've heard through all the searching I've done here! Do you have a website of your own to showcase your work? Your ratings are way too low for your work!
Just had to say something here. Ron (psnjron)

thanks for saying that. I really don't care about the ratings part. hearing people
say they like my stuff or that they are moved by a song of mine is good enough
for me. I'm not real aggressive about getting my stuff "out there" (a friend of
mine badgered me for a while to put stuff on here until I finally did). the fact
that one of these songs is being enjoyed in Berlin is pretty cool to me (hello
musicmarket, if you read this stuff). I don't have a website, either - maybe
sometime in the future. I'll put songs on here for now. help yourself to them!
thanks for being so nice and supportive.

right from the git go
that piano solo string just sucks you right in...and then builds nicely
from there. For me its no one thing. Your voice, the piano, sort of a
beatleish vibe, which can only come from the soul. That guitar solo just
sent me over the top. Very cool track.
