Lyrics
Lost in the world of an old '60's song. Hold Lucy's hand as she leads you along - through visions of a wonderland world under marmalade skies.

where newspaper taxi's appear in your head - with an old Beatle tune here to put you to bed - with words floating out on a carnival carousel ride.

sing us a song with a magical sound - the world is your musical merry-go-round. a nightgale song that rises above - it's easy to see that our sweet pea's in love with it all.

she's in love with it all......

the wind whispers softly as the branches bow down - chasing away any trace of a frown. hush, little baby, now don't make a sound - you're sure to know better when it's your turn around.

maybe our wishes will all come to flower - and soft morning kisses will trumpet the hour - where happiness rains on the seeds of the love that we've sown.

sing us a song - a magical sound - the world is your musical merry-go-round. reaching to grab the brass golden ring - a hummingbird song floats on gossamer wing.

sing us a song with a magical sound - the world is your musical merry-go-round - a nightingale song that rises above - it's easy to see Tessa Jane is in love with it all -

in love with it all.

Nice...
Nice sounds. Yea beatlesk. Your song writing sounds and song structure
is so in line with what Lennon & McCartney did. I can place each track of
yours where it would fit in perfectly on different Beatle albums. Really
enjoyed. Keep puttin it out here. RP

Damn you...
...I'm trying to write a tune for my 8 week old beautuful daughter. Now I listen to a song like this that brings me to tears and I feel like ripping up my notes and start over. You said it all better than I... Well done my friend.

ps... would love to have you play guitar on a tune I have in the back of my hear sometime....

Daily nourishment
You achieve an intimate feel with a great mix. But, man alive, that first
lyric grabbed me and pulled me in. Plus, I love songs that dance in 6/8
like this one. I really dig your "wind whisper" bridge. Great tune. The
words are so nice, yet there are times when you don't make me listen as
closely as you have in the way you've sung other tunes, not sure why but I
thought you should know. This is one of my favorites of yours. Man,
what do you do, write one every day? Everything sits perfectly in this
track. Wow. You make it seem so easy.

Ditto
Ditto to what everyone else is saying. Great song, great performance,
arrangement, etc.

I was a little leery of what I was going to hear after reading 'Beatles
pinches abound,' but I needn't have worried. This is very much your
song, very original, but with a few references to them (mostly in the
lyrics, though?). There also seemed to be a brief borrowing from Billy
Joel one time towards the end ("sing us a song").

A very impresive guitar solo.

Here's a really picky quibble, so trivial that I wasn't sure
whether to bring it up or not, but here goes: I'm not sure the
harmonica is perfectly in tune with the rest of the instruments (well,
with the acoustic guitar, mainly). It could just be me, though.

Overall, an extremely beautiful and original song. You have a great
voice, by the way.

Ditto
Thanks for the nice words, i hadn't thought of the Billy Joel song at all but now
that you mention it, it's blatant! Too funny. I thought I was pinching You've Got
To Hide Your Love Away.

The harmonica may be out of tune with the ukulele. It slips out of tune easily. I
kind of like that. Most of McCartney's bass parts are slightly out of tune! (and i
LOVE his bass parts!)

thanks for listening!

Drums
Nice work, great vocals and production.

How did you do the drums? They sound fantastic! And drums are my main
axe.

Drums
i built the drum part out from Jam Pack drumloops (mostly Jam Pack Rhythm
Section loops) There are plenty great loops there to built into a believable drum
part!

Thanks for listening!

Great Lyrics
You took inspiration to create a new song out of you.
Nice what you did.
You made a good job with the lyrics.
Despite dependence to the Beatles you created somthing new.
Tessa Jane will love it!

great song writing
with the exception of the drumloops, it's all me. thanks for the kind words. it
makes all the work that went into it worthwhile.

(the background "wah wah wah wah" vocal idea was pinched from Sexy Sadie,
truth be told) if you're gonna steal, steal from the masters! heh heh

thanks for listening!
