Description
After creating a "dub" track from scratch, I decided to work backwards and make the original. BTW, I wish I had a real studio.

Lyrics
One thing I could not figure out, how could you leave this world for your kids
Then I began to think about who your father was and what he did
Creating suffering has become the family biz
Meanwhile you spoon-feed the have mores and treat the rest of us like idiots
But I still know when you’re lying
It’s only every time you speak
When there are so many dying
I wonder how can you sleep
Your legacy will be a tragedy, a tale of power gone awry
Fortunately you have the cabinetry to blame it on the other guy
You sell Democracy and you sell it to your friends
Then you get away with it by screening questions at a press conference
But I still know when you’re lying
It’s only every time you speak
When there are so many dying
I wonder how can you sleep
But I still know when you’re lying
It’s only every time you speak
When there are so many dying
I wonder how can you sleep
You had the opportunity to do so many wonderful things
I’m sure that Haliburton if allowed would see to it you were made King.
How is it the bombs fell before forced inspecting
If that is your last resort, than I swear I am surrendering
But I still know when you’re lying
It’s only every time you speak
When there are so many dying
I wonder how can you sleep
Then I began to think about who your father was and what he did

I really like the song. The bass line and melody are smooth and catchy.
I think the fx during the chorus sticks out a little much.
I would say that your performance sounds a little like walking on egg
shells. You have a great voice. You should try another take with more
confidence and gusto. I'd also try dropping the vocals a little in the mix
and raising the guitar and keyboard. This is a great little tune that
would really shine with a bit of a shot in the arm.
