Description
A song written over a year ago and was my second submission to MacJams.
I had alway been rather proud of it, so I decided to redo it with some higher quality sounds, a better mix and extend some parts of it.
Anyway - hope you like it!

Floating illness ..)
I like the increase of tension in this one !
Starts very dreamy and moves into a strong melodie.
Thumbs up !

nice musical flow
hey it is a pretty tune!..
i am not exactly sure what kind of mood is represented (thematically,
conceptually), but i get lovely dramatic sensation of a mind facing
conflicts. i especiall enjoyed the ending :) sweet bass and melody. thanks

I remember the old one...
which was fantastic in it's own right, but you've taken it to the next
"Einny" level very well. You chose your instruments well, and handle them
with surety. I LOVE those bells in the beginning - although bells will
always remind me of fairy tales - which fits rather well come to think of
it... fairies with guns? Elven and Orc armies coming at each other.
Something martial. :)

impressive
You must be very thorough with your compositions and recordings. When I start listening to the details I get impressed with how the drums and bass match up, and how clever your solo parts and melodies are constructed.

The moods you create has your sound all over it Einarus. I think I've mentioned it before, but your music would be superb as a movie track. Guess it would have to be something around the fantasy genre;)

so full of athmosphere
starts of very relaxed. I love the melody of the metalophone. Then it burst out into an enchanting song. Wow, man, this is so full of passion. What a composition. I was waiting for more... ended too soon.

very reflective..
groovy- I dig the twist in the beginning where it's all slow and melodic, and BAM! , just rocks out!

Love it!
As usual, I love this Einar. You have such talent for this style of music
- it sounds like you're expanding your repertoire of styles too. I sure
hope you're looking at a career in music.
Thanks!!

Well, I'll admit it.
Missed it the first time around. This is neat, Einarus.

I'm with thoddi in thinking that it always sounds like you're a craftsman
who chooses his tools well...in this case, the synth sounds themselves
seem deep, resonant, with a sense of rosiny grit at times that gives them
detail while also allowing them to blend well... Everything fits...

Your approach to melody is also distinctive, the more I hear of your
work... Melody AND rhythm, actually... You sound like you...

Emerson, Lake & Palmer Live On!
That was really great! A definite download for me thanks! I like the way
the nature of the song changes a third of the way through...From more
New Age to Rock with a different flavor....Very well executed, and well
controlled. A BIG Bravo from me! Peace, digitalnirvana9/Norman

Why Quit Why You're Ahead?
I was all set to despise this as yet another bland, soft-rock pudding, but I kept listening because the piece develops its themes. It is of the minority of music here that goes somewhere and does something. But surely, you could easily have squeezed more mileage out of it. This fine material could've been developed into a genuine symphonic form. I anticipate hearing what you will do with it next.Take it out some.

Surprise!
If I'd read the genre, perhaps I wouldn't have been so surprised when
the rock portion came to life. I love those kinds of surprises, when a
song suddenly builds and expands and becomes something new. I'm
one of those losers who hears a cool part and then stops the song and
replays that portion over and over again.

I can definitely see why you wanted to revisit this piece because it's
really cool (I haven't heard the original) and the sounds here are really
nice and the mix is top-notch, to say the least. Very nice use of
tremelo throughout the song. I dig it.

Aptly titled
Just as it's lulling you into a dreamy mood, it puches hard and swings
back and forth%u2014but always building to something new.
Nice use of drums. And very tasteful lead guitar. Didn't want the song to
end. This was a must to download.
One other thought; it's ending seemed a bit too abrupt for me. You might
consider a pause after that final note (a C, I think) then after a beat, play a
soft A, then C and fade out. Might add a nice touch. But it's awesome
anyway you end it.

more?
great songwriting, and the production on this is exceptional! i particularly dig how well it builds. but the ending is a bit abrupt--perhaps even anti-climactic. i guess i was somehow expecting a really grand ending after such a great build. actually, i think the song deserves a spectacular ending.

cheers,
-=ez

Big azed wow from me
Actually, that was fairly breath taking - I was listening quite intently - You know, you do really well w/ all of your instrumentation - Your writing is rich w/ intriquing information and each indiviual element of your music does it's part to aid in transporting you.- This always seems to be true about your music but for some reason, I was really focusing on you percussive/drum work - I don't know how you do it; if it's midi imput or loops or what, but it was dead on - Everybody knows (or should know) that youi can't have a good band without an excellent drummer - The bass player doesn't have to be all that and neither do any of the other instramentalist - The arrangement needs to be right, but no matter what, the drummer needs to be driving things and I believe that he/she can make or break a band - Everything about you're drumming arrangment here was just on - It flowed well, it was driving, it was quiet when needed and it was always interesting and very NATURAL regardless what the part was - This all came together very nicely - I'm inspired - Very nice job E - Thanks again - Dion

I liked the introductory part the best, top notch, great stuff!

I liked the second rock'n roll part best. Great production, excellent
"sound"!

Yeah, we both loved the entire song. I and... me!

Thanks! Could we try some more of that, please?

Best Prog Rock Song
I have heard at MacJams so far.
Excellent performances and production - I like the mood this builds.
There's a little audio oddness at the end, like it's about to segue into
somethingelse and then gets cut off. I'm not sure you intended that.
