Nobel nominee is ..

.. this! It's great guys .. well done. Loved it. Great laid back vocal
style, tune .. overall feel, high bits and the 'sucking in breath' etc.
Production is great .. fat guitar sound ..
love those little expression bends with volume control and nice use of
that organ.

To my ears it had a blend of (in order): Radiohead, The Charlatans and
something about it made me look up Soup Dragons doing
Jagger/Richards "I'm free".

The bass & drums was .. perhaps a bit too laid back .. lol ;o) - no
just kidding .. solid.

All the best.

Damn good production!
Every instrument sounds great on this. There's nothing I would change.
Great guitars and organ. A fine rock song. Good job!

24 hour drummer people
very nice sound. produced well.

the organ really adds a nice layer here, fills is out.

were the drums really recorded in a stairwell? that reminds me of the
scene where they record the drums on the roof in '24 hour party
people'. hope you guys didn't leave with ian still banging away at the
bottom of the stairs!

really, though - a solid performance, even if it is 5 years old. nice
tight, laid back sound. well produced.

more!

yes
my drums really were in a stairwell....funny thing is.....I was 3 floors up in a
4story stairwell that was all glass on the exterior wall....I was tracking at 3 a.m.
and we got complaints from over 10 blocks away....I like to hit my drums
hard.....glad you dug the tune....more to come....stay tuned....peace....Ian Baird
