Flight of the butterflies Very nice work with the strings. The flute really works well with this. I felt the ending was a little abrupt, but other than that you have yourself a very sensational piece. Check out my latest song called Giving Up (Instrumental)

thnx BranDaMan I m so glad you enjoyed the piece . as I said before .maybe you used to more modrenate kind of music with long rehearsel to end the piece dunno maybe this , in renaissence there s no change in tempo or controlin the volumes or hardness or softness but brilliant perfomrence with actual tunes gathred together .. anyway I m reading alot and wish this piece will help me to be accepted on the Music department in missoula ...the professor seems to be happy with it a bit ! again I m so thanklfull for passing by and so happy that you liked it .. I am impressed! Very nicely done Feter my friend. I didn't realise you did this as well as the blues - I guess there are similarities in some ways - short, repetitive (in a good way) and emotional. I agree with Caroline and BranDaMan that it ended a bit suddenly, but I don't think that takes anything away from what you've done. I also agree that the flute sounds good. I am impressed! Spirited Away! Feter I was surprised to hear this from you. It felt very personal to me a unique combination of styles. I only would like to see you let the piece breath a bit more. Discription ! its all in Sebilius wrote on as scores ..then export it as Midis ,then import this Midi into Fruityloops 4 resampling each track to sound much real with soundfonts applied to it .. doin some lil volume controilin and effects ... ! six books been written this way ! so glad you enjoy it and thnx for your words !! butterflies Loved the recorder...(more like that than a flute!)...I wish the piece didn't just...END... There's so much potential here for development...The recorder is soooo cool that I'd personally like to see it feature exclusively. Drop the strings back and give them more of a chordal sound than a percussive and I think you'd have an absolutely fabulous number. I am very glad I got to hear this piece. regarding the "abrupt" ending... I believe the shock lies not in the song itself, but in the midi instruments and production. The reverb at the end cuts off too quickly - generally it's a good idea to let it fade. This would be soooo lovely to hear live (although it would sure give the flutist a workout ;) Check out my latest song called Julia

Slurs? I loved the way you built this up at the begging. Just a question though..is it possible to maybe slur the string parts. It would make it much easier to perform and i think would help create a sort of bed for the tune in the flute (recorder?) to play across...all in all one of the best tracks i've heard in a long time. |

you've got an orchestra in yer pocket!!! this is amazing - i can hear the butterflies - thank you so much for sharing.. my only complaint? it ended too soon and too suddenly!
