i should give you a little credit
i was brain dead for lyrics, with our back & forth chats. something snapped into
place. a realization of things people go through past present & future and how
they overcome to find an ideal place in there own world. you my man have a
righteous mind.

actually i have only become comfortable with my voice earlier this year. not
much of a range, so sometimes i do strain on notes. but so it goes. i figure if i'm
having fun on it others will pick up on it. to me thats what this site is all about.

To many influences growing up i think. a lot of pop as well as hard rock. ilike to
mix it up. on the vocal i did a ever popular tortured artist effect. singing the
whole song straight through numerous times without a drink of water to get the
shredded vocal effect. some notes strain, but i was after the feel and effect.

Do I hear a Todd Rundgren fan here? I have lot of his old stuff and some of the
new. Second wind was kind of the last album I liked. Oh, did you hear that Roger
Powell has a new CD out? Of course, if you're not a Todd fan, forget I wrote this.

A lot, lot, lot to like...
This is catchy, pop-y, but it's got something to say. The vocals are good. I
really like the guitars, and particularly the guitar solo. Thought the drums
were just right. The song's good... you could play it on an acoustic and
not lose the whole feel... Altogether a good one... Ed

probably about 95% of my songs are originally written on the acoustic. i hadn't
thought about it but it might be fun to go back and record acoustic versions. i
do have acoustic songs, just haven't posted any. thanks for giving me the idea.

most of the time i just like the immediatcy of getting the song down and not
dwell on it. some fixes here and there. sure is a learning curve trying to get
