Feter...
this is really inovative, great originality going on here, I don't think anyone would have imagined this could be done. Such pure emotion unlike anything the world has yet to hear.

ball and chains
thank you Ian ...I was so afraid and hesitate to post
this song cos many had done it with alot of ways ....
but its meant alot here ..this song has a political
meaning on the old days here ..it represnet the depression
upon the musicians who lives on this city ..so it was
a hit to sing alive here on my gigs ..this one is just
a mix between joan baez and the animals somehow .. so
glad you enjoyed it and I realy appreciated your kind
words ..thank you ..!!

That haunting organ..
and incredible mournful guitar lede... this is a winner, Feter. You sound like the guy who actually lived the song. A from the gut performance. Really great keyboards.

who's playing the sixties now? this is one of the first songs i ever learned back in 69. the electric lead reminds of frigid pinks version back in 1970. and just when i was thinking a couple days back of doing this one. darn it you post. fun listen. take care.

YEAH!
I remember this from your web-site! I'm glad you posted it here! From your gravelly vocal delivery to the cathedral-organ to the searing lead licks---this one is hot! I'm surprised to find out this tune is Public Domain. If I knew that before I'd have already covered it myself! LOVE IT!

Be well!

Awesome!
For years this song has haunted me. Feter, you've done it justice and then some. Your musicianship is first rate. Great lead guitar and organ playing. Your vocals are totally original. I could have listened to this for hours. Also fascinating to hear that it has a life and special meaning to your city and country. Thank you for sharing your passion with us.

powerful
The organ (the instrument) sounds fantastic. And that fuzz guitar is just right for it. Your voice reminds me of Tom Waits.
Most folks have some relations to this tune. Think it was one of the first tunes I learned to play on guitar:)

Great version Feter.

T Waits ? !!
Thnx Alot Thoddi ..indeed this is a real
classic tune by all means maybe the real
reason for anything called folk rock I heard
someone says that . sure I m very appreciate
your kind words my friend hope more grenuine
blues comin soon ... thank you again !!

p.s
I got an unplugged tom waits ...hmmmm his voice sound
rusty blues ... maybe you meant when he was bit younger ?
anyway he surely shows alotta pain when he sings ...!!
