Lyrics
what's it gonna mean baby if you can't bite it off, with all them shiny black teeth.
what's it gonna mean baby when your clothes come off, two cents don't pay your rent.
back on down, from where you came
fire poker cherry pop, this is from the top.
what's it gonna mean baby when you want to get off, take my hand, it ain't soft.
please let me off, help me, let me off.
fire poker cherry pop, this is from the top.

live fun
if it weren't for the guns..I'd say you sound like you loved doing this stuff. Sounds like a live jam with beer and blues... probably not any groupies around though;)

Yeah I'd love jamming with you guys. You are the cool ones at MacJams.

The fact that your anarchic
jams actually land as songs is amazing. Guess years of avoiding heirarchical songcraft pays off - bigtime. The JOAN sound is coming dangerously close to coalescing - but I know I don't have to worry about it actually happening. I hear a little early Jane's Addiction here.

Oh yeah...
... a good Dose of JOAN to end my weekend and get ready for the workaday world blues. I'm ready to saddle up my flying hippo and sail off into the sunset.

Poetry in Motion
This is such a nice and romantic love song, and as a sucker for modern romantic tales like this one; I am of such in love. The instruments are handled with much care and softness throughout the whole sentimental charade. The soft voice, gently tells the story, whispering it like it was a hidden secret. With true, gentle and honest lines like "fire poker cherry pop, this is from the top", JOAN has once again proven that love really matters! ;-) Love you guys, this is awesome! /Mikki
