Description
'Nothing Will Be Impossible' is track #2 (of eight) from my record 'Sound of Wood'.
"Old" MacJammers probably remember a previous version of it. But this is the CD-version which has been lightly editied. It has also been mastered by Alimar.
The story behind the tune is that I had just purchased a pair of 'Golden Age Project R1' ribbon microphones. Before that I struggled a lot with condenser mics. I felt they too overamplified any hard sound from the guitar. Attacks became too harsh. Rough strumming (like on this tune) was almost unthinkable. So one of the very first tests of the new mikes was this short improvisation (and the result was very satisfying). Later though, I also found that this was a nice piece of music. So nice that I finally included it to 'Sound of Wood'.
If you want to hear track #1 of 'Sound of Wood', it is also posted at MacJams: If You Want

Your attention to detail in the recording process really does pay off. The space and separation in the sound is something most of us can only aspire to ... but then so is your playing!
