Description
This is remix of "Be Good To Me" - http://www.macjams.com/song/19345 - as I felt it needed guitars. And speeding up. I think this version is much better.

Lyrics
Be good to me
Belong to me
Take an axe to my family tree
Write my obituary

Be kind to me
Beware of me
One thing on which we must agree
My life belongs to me

the guitars...
...are a great addition, as is the increase in tempo....it's a haunting melody Ross, have you added some other vocals?
I don't necessarily think it's is an improvement on the original, it's just as good-just another great reinterpretation...
Cheers,
Alf

Flagless MJers unite!
The guitars add a really nice, rocky touch Ross - I'm with you, this sounds much better. About the flags - I have it on good authority that Howard has in fact changed the union jack in our flag for the stars and stripes - just waiting on them to arrive from the sweatshop ;)
This is a good song, well performed and well recorded. Like it a lot.
Cheers, Neil

Nice Contrast...
between the two guitars. I think the vocals could be a bit louder and that little "harmonica solo?" in the middle could use some volume. Beside that, I like it! Good job on the guitars.

Collaborate?
Ross,

Tried emailing but think you must have it disabled. You mentioned collaborating sometime. Then I found this - and - seriously, listen to this and my song Red Dirt back to back - you could almost sing the melody to Red Dirt to the opening to this.

I love this song! Production, sounds, atmosphere. If you could get a version of Red Dirt sounding as low-down and swampy as this I think it would sound great. Or some kind of melding of the two songs... just a thought???

This reminds me of so many good things - it's got a bit of Nick Cave in there and also that Neil Young guitar sound all the way through. Blown away!
