wow thats really miking the drums
not the easiest i'm sure. bass and drum lock in well. kinda punkish and a nice solo at the end there. your going to love logic.

the only note i'ld like to pass on is i had logic on my emac, if you start getting popping and static noises you'll have to upgrade the computer, the emacs can keep up with a lot of tracks and plug ins.

Nice Job ----
Great sound all around. Nicely done. It would have been nice to follow along with the lyrics had you posted them. I enjoyed listening.

Thanks for sharing,

Love the Drums
I am really diggin the tight punchy drums going on. I am struggling right now trying to record mine. Is your kick mic inside the drum, beater side, or in front? Really nice production.

thanx!
thanks for the nice comments guys. yes i went from logic to cubase but only coz i got a free copy and wanted to try it out, I will return to good old logic 7 soon enough though. To record the bass drum I actually used a large diaphragm condenser, I took the front head off the drum and put the mic just inside the drum, giving it quite a lot of depth.

A really good production
This sounds great. Super clean recording, especially the drums. Good solo at the end there as well, perfectly matched for the song.

the mapex sound nice!
GREAT drum sounds on this. Here's my theory...in the rock genre if the drums sound good everything will sound good. Like the guitar panning during "cover my anger up" and "sit out and tell them all" parts. Cool tune.

from the start
this one just clicks. Indeed, the drums, as well as the entire rythym section is just crisp. Tight, well recorded and passionate performance.
A little Joe Jackson thang hap'n, only with more verve. Loved the gits at the end
