Description
I got a parcel at work today which turned out to be a Boss BR digital 4 track - about the size of a calculator with a built in mic,and includes batteries. So naturally I had to try it out.The room I finished cleaning today happened to have a harpsichord and a glockenspiel (actually it was a marimba I now know, thanks Bubowski!) neither of which I can play and I could only find one beater stick thing to play the marimba with,so what you hear is rapid wrist movement in one arm! I conclude that the Boss BR is a great little machine - the piano sounds a bit ropey but thats cos the mic wasn't close enough.I was able to just plug it in to my mac when I got home and extract the tracks as aiff files via Boss's free converter software. All in all though I'm impressed and love how pocketsize it is.The harpsichord is well out of tune with the piano but there wasn't much I could do about that.

It sounds clean for a hand-held unit. Nice little pieced together piece. BTW is that a marimba (instead of a glock?) Some debussy like chords floating around there on the piano, and the harpsichord sounds almost asian.
