Description
This song was written as incidental ambient music for a radio drama podcast.

It's a more meditative, instrumental track, so sit back, close your eyes and drift away....

(Composed with two improvised tracks in GB3, using synthesizer and harp.)

meditation
I closed my eyes, and felt at peace. Wished it was longer. You did this with software instruments? loops? You have this down. Thought maybe I'd hear your lovely voice in there somewhere.

Thanks for your comments on this piece.

It is short, and I am planning on doing a couple of companion pieces (probably with vox) to round it out a bit.
It's a very simple composition, comprised of two improvised tracks--synthesizer and harp.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it :)

that's what simple, uncluttered songs like this...

Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space
This is one of my fave Mysti instrumentals...I really like the 70's Eno feel to this one. Top quality!

Remember...
...those funny things like listening to Pink Floyd while watching The WIzard of Oz?...

A funny thing just happened. I was listening to a Herbie Hancock track that I got from futzpucker, then punched the play button on this... BUT, iTunes went to the next selection in my library, which happened, for some reason, to be Juleijus, from the Splendor Bright project... So it started playing at the same time as Tree Of Life... And it WORKED, somehow... in a sort of psychedelic way...

So then I had to relisten to this as its own self....

This is very pretty, and meditative. It DOES bring one's brain waves down into the Delta range... I think I'll use it at work for meditative and hypnotic purposes...

I love the tree you chose, too...

I, too, hear some Eno echoes, along with some of the slightly more contemporary New Age/Celtic harpists...

It sure is . . .
a close your eyes lay back and listen thing. You especially seem to have a penchant musically for a frosty type sound, I am looking forward to this years summer sound as well. . . I got a feeling it's in there somewhere.

i love this
it's so beautiful. very nice how the harp plays against the synth. i have been trying to get better at ambient pieces (for me it's the logical step from psychedelia), and this is so inspiring. really a thing of beauty.

Charming
It's refreshing to hear a harp sound used so skillfully, blending in to the ambience without sounding unnatural. Mystified not MIDIfied!
