Description
Be warned: this is an 8 minute long psych/ambient piece. I used a sample from freesounds that was called thymehoney, and decided to just go with that for a title. I am trying to get better at the soundscapes, so I keep pumping them out. As usual, I'm totally up for collaboration, so i fyou think you can do something with this, let me know and I'll send it to you.

the sample doesn't come in until the halfway point, and i'm pretty sure you'll be able to figure out which part it is.

Spaced out
This is very soothing. Good drone basis, and then the ambling monologue over it, it adds up to a nicely zoned out mood.

Now where did you say I could buy this stuff?

Victor.

empty anticipation
a feeling of anxious anticipation is caused by the music. the conversation adds a new dimension. it draws attention away from the anxiety. but it feels incomplete. the anticipation should be satisfied by an ending. an ending of recapitulation of earlier themes. perhaps echoes of earlier conversations interweaving. there is passive tension here that needs release. 8 minutes went by quickly, it was fascinating, and enjoyable. 0x0

love the atmosphere
...this evokes.
It's as if I'm walking down the deserted corridors of a space station, haunting and solitary...and then the voices drift in and I'm transported somewhere else, and intrigued by the conversation.

Lovely ambience and intriguing track! Thank you :)

Collaboration??
Fuck that. This piece is perfect as is -- I wouldn't mess with it at all. It is far and away the least self-conscious of all your "Ambient" works -- and that is saying something. I love this one! Supreme tension, and emotionally heart-wrenching during the last 1/3rd of the song -- wherein you add a beat/rhythm that completely comes out of nowhere and emotionally pulls the rug out from under the listener. Totally unexpected. Subtle culture-clash anxiety. Phenomenal ending. This one really took me by surprise. Great work!

I am going to download this and take it to work and play it for my fellow muralists -- I think they will dig this one.

By the way . . .
I don't agree with anything anyone has written above. No offense, I just have a completely different interpretation.

Cheers,

I don't know how you
do it. You must live, breath, eat and pretty well do everything else with your equipment. How else would you be able to slip so easily from one genre to the other seemingly with such ease. Amazing!
