Nice job
The vocal is better in the mix, and I'm noticing backing vocals that I don't think I really noticed on the first mix. This is great. Nice way to kick off the day (especially when the day is Monday!) Nice work. Peace.

Very T-Rex
Indeed. Thoght it was great in that T-Rex style. Also, like to see the rest of the lyrics. Love your voice and your style. Production's nice and clean. Well done.

lyrics
thanks for the support! here are the lyrics:

i've got a girl,
oh, she's got a girl,
it makes me crazy when she jumps around.

she wants it bad,
oh she wants it bad,
she needs it bad
it makes her so, so sad.

she's the one,
my only one.
she's the one i'm singing to, this song.
she's a dream,
she's a queen,
she's my amphetamine.

i've got a pill,
i've got a pill,
it gives you such a thrill.

girl, you want it bad,
oh, you need it bad.
girl you want it bad
it makes you so, so sad.

I like it.
This could easily be too poppy for my tastes, but you managed to make it quirky enough to be interesting. Sort of sounds like a combination of David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Elvis Costello. Nice clear production. The vocals fit the song. The guitar solo is appropriately understated but ballsy. And overall the song is very direct and to the point.

Blockbuster
great song, fantastic mix (the guitars sound great), and a spot on homage to the 70's glam rock bands. Your voice is really good on this - reminds me a little of Jim from the Jesus and Mary Chain.

Great stuff, bud.

thanks for the comments!
to get the guitar sound, i doubled the electric gtr (fender strat american) rhythm tracks with two acoustic gtr tracks and panned 10 and 2 o'clock.
the acoustics added more percussive feel to the overall track. marc bolan used this trick on most of his tracks, and can be heard on bowie's young american-era stuff (which was directly influenced by bolan).
good call on the jesus and mary chain reference. the more i listen to the track, the more i hear it.
