Description
Another live recording from Selters. I have lately been inviting people for gigs in my home, which I like a lot. I nevet thought I would perform this song live, but for some reason i decided to, and the crowd liked it alot!

Lyrics
I told myself
A thousand times
I was in the bathroom
when I caught my eyes
The person in front of me
Looked like a wannabe
The biggest lie
That has crossed my path
we don’t wanna be
happy and free
Is there a fight?
for our lives and for our rights
They made up a story
so convincingly
and threw it out for our eyes to see
We watched it all
with our eyes closed
and failed to see the conspiracy
we don’t wanna be
happy and free
Is there a fight?
for our lives and for our rights
The biggest nightmare
I could ever imagine
A god has betrayed us
but no one cares
They call you crazy
if you make an opinion
that’s a little different
then then the usual
we don’t wanna be
happy and free
Is there a fight?
for our lives and for our rights
A thousand times
I was in the bathroom
when I caught my eyes
The person in front of me
Looked like a wannabe
The biggest lie
That has crossed my path
we don’t wanna be
happy and free
Is there a fight?
for our lives and for our rights
They made up a story
so convincingly
and threw it out for our eyes to see
We watched it all
with our eyes closed
and failed to see the conspiracy
we don’t wanna be
happy and free
Is there a fight?
for our lives and for our rights
The biggest nightmare
I could ever imagine
A god has betrayed us
but no one cares
They call you crazy
if you make an opinion
that’s a little different
then then the usual
we don’t wanna be
happy and free
Is there a fight?
for our lives and for our rights

Always liked this song Magnus - the playing live at home sounds interesting. We've been going to some "house concerts" in a little town down the coast lately (have seen David Essig and Mad Violet amongst others - Mad Violet were amazingly good) and have really enjoyed the ambience. It's a large loungeroom (or in summer they have the show in the back yard) and people take a plate of food - very laid back.
Sorry to ramble, but what I'm getting at is that the feel of your song and performance is very warm and personal (it's also played and sung very well) in this context. You seem to have grown a lot in confidence over the last year or so. This is great.
