Description
A street song that attempts to capture the ambience of the wind - but I'm afraid the production may be overblown.

creative origins That's seems to be where it's at for me lately - to take an original melody and get creative with it ... letting it go where ever it takes me. Some days it goes nowhere ... other times it morphs into something like this piece, which kept getting new elements added to it. Several times I declared it done ... only to come back to it again and add something more. Thanks for listening and commenting. Check out my latest song called Pushing and Pulling

cool i like this a bunch. sorry but I'm not seeing the wind though. i'm picturing new york on the first halfway warm post-winter day. it's a sunny 45 degrees and everyone is so happy they're all out in the streets in shorts and tanktops. what synth sound is that main melody played on, very moog sounding. Name that synth Forty-five degrees and sunny - I'll take that as a compliment : > I can't tell you what the synth is ... because it's a mutation of some pre-set instrument. An approach I've been taking lately is to select a basic synth I want to use and then tweak the sound using a variety of effects and calibrations. Then, when I get something "likeable," I'll duplicate-copy it once or twice, and then tweak some more, so I have two or three synths that sound similar yet different. Some productions end up with several synth "groups" like this to help develop textured sound. Check out my latest song called Pushing and Pulling

Like the main melody, and the sounds and effects going on in the spaces inbetween. I also enjoyed the use of percussion throughout. I wouldn't say the production was overblown - it's very up front and present, which is a good thing. Nice work. Peace. Check out my latest song called Across the Wire (MJRF)

Is it Ambient or Thrill Ride? Either way, it's pretty psychedelic. Very cool! Check out my latest song called Machine Man (w Beastie Boys)

psychedelic pretty Hmmm - this is the 40th anniversary of the psychedelic "Summer of Love." Maybe that has some influence? Check out my latest song called Pushing and Pulling
