I hope that picture is no longer representative of what's going on inside your hand! Every musician's nightmare. And yet, you persevere! The last piece of yours I listened to was very cinematic, I recall, and made me think of a soundtrack to a movie (I think it was called "Bored Song" or something like that?) and this is quite different. It has a sense of circularity - a kind of unending vibe that resists labeling as accompaniment. Maybe it's the pain meds, or maybe it's a whole new direction opening up for you. I like it.
