Paying...
a return visit when I listened to this beautiful rendition. Terriffic singing and emotion. Even though I don't speak French or understand the words there is such an emotion here it's almost spiritual and there is no detraction from the wonderful performance. The production the instruments and of course that wonderful accordian (which I love) make this one of the most enjoyable songs I've heard anywhere. I love it, M

Deeply moving...

I deeply feel for your loss Marc and again, send you my sincere condolences. I am certain letting out some of your emotions (which I can hear you have done) in this song has helped you take those steps towards coming to terms with it all. It is a fabulous tribute to your
brother. Really special. He would have loved it
and I cannot begin to understand how difficult it was
to write, record and perform a complete original piece
for him, but you have succeeded my friend.

Marc, every element here is just lovely, but your vocal performance is especially terrific, filled with emotion, yet never melodramatic. French is such a beautiful language for singing. I grew up listening to Charles Aznavour, from the time I was a little girl, and have always loved men singing in French.

Best wishes to you and your family for the loss of your brother. I'm very sorry. Thank you for this beautiful song.

...with a client who, among other things, talked about the peace he finds in fishing... and the particular quality of the silence that goes along with fishing...

And yesterday, in a treatment meeting, with a different client, we were talking about what a great thing it has been for him this year to have discovered...wait for it...fishing...

Fishing. It must just be in the air today.

This reminds me of an old Bruce Cockburn song, just a bit... Got to think of which one...'Badlands Flashback', I think...

	Sorry... ...I'm so late Marc. I've been busy trying to find my feet in Logic Express. I'm just now getting caught up. This is quite lovely. The melody is powerful and emotional. Love the vocal. Thank you for this lovely trip into your song this morning. I can't believe it took me this long to get to listen to this perfect song. The warm guitar, the fish swimming in cirlces to find their companion, the beautiful keys whispering in the back, the accordion, and of course your kind voice and words all saying a hello to your brother.

your song has so unbelievably poetic lyrics. one doesn't come often across with a text so emotional, tender, poetic, so wonderful. len is right. it all together, words, melody, slow rhythm, your singing, melodic french but mostly the story behind squeezes your heart the way, that it aches. this is a wonderful, wonderful song marc and i am very touched by it. about a month ago i lost a person very dear to my heart and in your song i can feel and hear the love, the sorrow, the missing feeling, everything i felt that time and i'm feeling still. all my compliments to you marc, truly wonderful and very touching song.
