Description
Psycho Normal and his Stiff Victims

Recorded (and mixed) in a garage in Portslade in 1982 on a 4-track Tascam Porta.

Line up

Vocals - Graeme Hobbs (who I'm writing the Amokopera with)

Bass - Steve Mazillius http//www.bluegrasscollege.org/...

Tony ? - drums

Me - on the same Strat I play now

Loads of tape hiss and a weird flange effect on the whole mix for some reason.

Cheers

Dick

Thanks Vic

Early Sound
Definitely a pre 80's sound (that's a good thing :) Nice guitar solo too. A little equalizer action is not against the spirit of Analogopolooza is it? Worth saving for the solo alone!

Thanks
Bill

Dont touch the eq
Leave this exactly as it is ... this is great. The vox and guitar are really 80's, but the song has a kinda white funk/rock thing going on, almost INXS-ish. Thanks for sharing this Dick ...

japan hasn't lost the war, indeed!!!!

INXS?
Not sure that's good but nonetheless any comparisons with popular bands is always welcome :-)

Don't worry I won't be changing it.

Been playing guitar for longer than I care to remember (or so said the witch) Never very interested in music at school (what would I have done with a good teacher?) so it was surprise to find I had a little talent. My latest project is a rock op... [see more]
