Description
This song was developed as a result of trying to find out who I am (not African American because there's no country called African America). In the process of the search I came across the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy and the 26th chapter of Leviticus, among other books in the Bible. This song might cause some controversy with some people but I am just expressing my beliefs. And they are my beliefs.

I wish more of the mainstream black music was like this (and I know there's no country called "black" either, but to be fair, a good number of European Americans are simply lumped together under the "white" tag) - instead of about gang-bangin' and bling-blingin', would that we could have more discussion of identity, both racial and spiritual. One separates us and one unites us, if we look hard and deep enough. But onto the song, this is slick. The only reason I didn't go with all 10's was due to some clarity issues on some of the raps. Controversy is good - it promotes discussion. Simply nodding at the status quo when someone's preaching to the choir invites sedentary thought and who needs that? Bravo.
