Same old shoes
Same old shore
Same old sunshine
could be more
Same old shinola
Same old shill
Same old polish
do we learn, no, never will
Same old shaker
Same old schlock
Same old measure
people talk
Around and around
and around and around
I just sit here
and watch it go…
Same old shtick
Same old shew
Somewhat shabby
that’s for sure
Same old shudder
Same old shroud
Same old washerwoman
Hanging clothes under a dark cloud
Same old shirt
same old shower
Same old wonderment
thrown away by the hour
Around and around
and around and around
I just sit here
and watch it go…
Same old shackles
Same old shade
Same old shlepping
When I thought I had it made
Same old shore
Same old sunshine
could be more
Same old shinola
Same old shill
Same old polish
do we learn, no, never will
Same old shaker
Same old schlock
Same old measure
people talk
Around and around
and around and around
I just sit here
and watch it go…
Same old shtick
Same old shew
Somewhat shabby
that’s for sure
Same old shudder
Same old shroud
Same old washerwoman
Hanging clothes under a dark cloud
Same old shirt
same old shower
Same old wonderment
thrown away by the hour
Around and around
and around and around

and watch it go…
Same old shackles
Same old shade
Same old shlepping

...this really is one of the most interesting things I've heard on MJ's for a while.
What a great production job! The middle insrtumental is a total surprise - kind of chaotic, but fits in with the edgy rhythm of the whole piece. The mandolin is doing some good stuff, and I like the way it plays off the irregular pulsing bass. It's reminding me of a lot of things - but i can't think what........
DL'd for future enjoyment -
Nice one,
Phil
