Sweet ... .. song and arrangement.. wouldn't harm to harm a few harmonies at a few spots I thought...from like "feel your skin beneath the clay" .. and at the bridge .. and even in the chorus .. you have a great voice .. though, I like the sparseness in instrumentation .. suits the 'setting'. More kinda 'acoustic rock' to my ears .. I really like the verse guitar stylings/pick-strum: kinda Ammie Mann "you could make a killing"-esque .. Really excellent concept and lyrics. The bridge gives me a hint of 'Crowded House' ..and I really like the way it flows into chorus seemlessly .. and the little hint of a country-style ending to the chorus ..which seems fitting when you go back to the opening notes.
