Description
Apologies for being away so long. This is a rough piece. I'd love to have more time to spend on it... but right now I don't. This isn't the good mando I did my other stuff with, so the tone's a bit on the cheap side, but that's me all over.

Hello stranger
Well, this is a surprise! Great to see you posting again.

You still know how to jangle that mando, even if it isn't the fine old Gibson one. The electric guitar adds a nice bit of contrast too.

I hope you'll stick around and post some more stuff when time permits. It's good to see you back.

I love....
the down-home feel of this lovely song.... ooo the sweet mandolin. And a song with wonderful sentiments, sung just right by you. Good to see and hear you Mando.

Good to have you back...
...even if you're just passing through. And what a catchy ditty you've brought with you too - did you wear a stetson to record this one?

I like it
I've been away, too. It's nice to drop in again and see a new tune of your up on the page. I enjoyed it. Simple and catchy and, as always, wry.

Sing a song of six strings
No, wait, a mandolin has 8, right?

Anyway, a simple song, but quite convincing. Very nice.

delightful MandiBlues
this sort of thing is supposed to be rough, isn't it? You certainly have that hesitant tremor in your voice that gives this sincere delivery. Fun guitar accent too, but I would lose the shaker in my right ear, that is the only critique.
Welcome Back!

If your home is here
We will all follow you home, so stick around.

Most enjoyable ditty. A tasty morsel indeed. Loved how you added those guitars in the way you did, it really gives it a unique sound and not what you set up to receive at the beginning, a pleasant suprise.

Thanks for commenting on my beer drinkin tune too. You should add that mando sound to Thoddi's Christmas tune.

Lovely song
Great to see/hear you post again William - it's been far too long.

Very good tune - I can hear so many possibilities in this. Moving from the Richard Thompson-ish start to a full on Fairport (rock) treatment.

Fantastic that you're back.

Hey!
It's Mando out of Revolving Doris and he's back!

Well, as one of your biggest fans, I'm sure you can imagine that I'm very happy to hear a new song and I think the tone of this mando actually suits the whimsical nature of the lyrics quite nicely ("steal a car or find a rocket").

More please.

Very Cool and Been Away Too Long!
This is a really interesting song, both musically and
vocally and love what seems simplicity but on a deep
listen is quite deep. Good to hear your signature sound
on Macjam's again!
