Pickin for Peace ~
Its belong to a project a started way back bringin back
old songs about peace from the Alan Lomax book and other
sources ! I started that with We_Shall_Not_Be_Moved(with dreadmon)
http://www.macjams.com/song/34548 and I thought it ll be a delight
to call on friends to think and pick and bring live with such songs
so I started a thread Banjo for Peace and I was so happy to have
Joseph Brady sayin he s interested and then James Bouchard tellin me
he is a banjo picker .so I thought its perfrect to let it go both
two remarkable muscians here and I m so honored to colab with such
fine people and here s what they wrote me after the song finished :
Jim Bourchard((I don't really have much to say, actually. It's your project, go ahead and run with it.thanks for asking, though. ))
Joseph Brady(( thanks for this experience; pleasure playing on this
and fun working with you; If only our leaders would try a little
Macjams pickin' maybe this world would have a few less problems.
The bounty of peace is far greater than any spoils of war. Peace to
you and your loved ones ))

Laying down that load... A warm and earthy rendition, most enjoyable collaboration, of this old folksy tune. Thanks guys for putting this one up.
