Lyrics
Stuck in the Voodoo Room
looking at you
draining away my lifeforce

Dancing in a trance
Hoping for blind chance
to get me outta here

Stuck in a Voodoo Room
Waiting for the dark dreams
to surround me

Stuck in a Voodoo Room
Waiting for her minions
to set me free

Dancing in a trance
Hoping for blind chance
to come and set me free
yeah yeah

Great combination
of guitars - like that 'freakout' ending. Mysti's sitar is a nice touch. Hope you two will be doing some more collaborations in 2008!

Thanks Feter
Yes this has a bit of a 60's vibe....I was brought up on a lot of late 60's music and I really like the experimentation of those days, there was a kind of innocence to a lot of that stuff! I was just listening to some Hendrix today before recording this one...still sounds great today.

cool singin
and nice rockin. I was waiting for the sitar, thinking were is the sitar but then heard it. Nice addition as well, You have such a clean cut voice, but some how it seems to fit quite nicely. Nice electric guitar leads as well. Like those hard hits almost White Rabbit type psych chords etc.

Thanks for sharing and had fun listening. Brought me back in time. Were is Grace Slick, actually she lives near were i live. Maybe we can get her to resurrect her career and go on the road with you ! But on second thought she might just slow you down.

Thanks for sharing

far out.

Steve, you really threw in some excellent styles in this. I hear dabs of Hendrix, early Rolling Stones and some Steppenwolf. sweet!

New Orleans flashback
and I've never been there. Nice job on everything. Esp liked the bass. Not sure why I gravitate there (incredible tone?)..but its the center for me. Killer solo in the break.

Funnily enough I was just listening to the Gris Gris album by Dr John yesterday...surely one of the creepiest albums ever. I got to visit New Orleans a few years back and had the time of my life!
Cheers for listening in

this is a great
track. love the interplay between the guitars and the rhythm section is really nice and groovey yet understated. that ending really came out of nowhere, very cool way to end the song. great job.

Great guitar and sweet vocals. Really laid back and cool.
