Lyrics
CELEBRATION OF NOTHING
By©Bernardo Barreto
The afternoon falls heavily over me
One thousand emotions in my chest
The cats wander in search of something
They will never find.
You are away minding your own business
I am here all alone with the leftovers of my life
Outside the clowns party with balloons
And machine guns.
Celebrating nothing anyway
Celebrating nothing anyway.
(solo)
There's no carnival from where I stand
Only memories of the night and a hundred valiums
Maybe some Vodka and a cheap whore
And the street with all its pleasures and sins.
But that's not me today, maybe yesterday
Or someone else, the man who stole my face
Don't ask me no questions...
I may give you an answer.
Celebrating nothing anyway
Celebrating nothing anyway.
Celebrating nothing anyway
Celebrating nothing anyway.
