Description
Here's the song I would have performed at Woodstock if I had been Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and hand't been two-years-old.

Lyrics
Drums of Peace

©2008 Joseph Gurner

Flowers grow in a field of green
Where too many people died
Flowers lay across a grave
Where a mother cries

How long will terror reign
And freedom hide its head
Will we ever find our heart again
Can we hold our heads up high

Now is the time to come together
And stop the drums of war
Spread a new song across the land
And play the rums of peace

Politicians play their games
And send their you to war
Those with honor hide their eyes
And let the guilty fly

How long will we live in fear
And let our freedoms die
Will our courage be enough
Can we let our voices sing

Now is the time to come together
And stop the drums of war
Spread a new song across the land
And play the rums of peace

Flowers grow in a field of green
Where we all standd hand in hand
All together we rasie our voice
And sing a song of peace

The intro is worth the price of admission on its own Joseph!

Lovely harmonies, perfect reincarnation of the times.

You... way down der in da sippis...
Well you just wiped a noisy little smile all the way across my body, JG. I didn't care much for anything that came from WS, but I certainly am dign' this.

I think that this is some of your best work! I totally dug the way you opened. And you carried the high throughout this piece. Something about this piece really makes your vocals shine more so than usual. Nice perc and guitar action. I like the chorus work on this too.

Nice message and a really moving piece. Congratulations, sir.

Thanks for changing my mind about WS. Really nice work!

Definitely grab worthy. Thanks for the dl. Dion
