I try hard Mixing is what I think I do best and I am always pleased when a visitor thinks that I have done a good job with the mix on a song. Interesting that you should mention the drums and beats I had a whole different drum and rhythm track for this song and then simply deleted the whole thing and rewrote it. It was then that the whole song began to work for me. After that move the entire thing came together quickly and gelled for me. Thanks for the comment and the visit. Great stuff This kicks in from the off and sweeps you along to the end. The sound is amazing - only to be expected from you; you have a gift for making everything sound full and clear and right where it should be in the mix - and the track is great. Love the guitar sounds at the beginning, and the different instrumental colors throughout give the piece terrific dynamism. Very nicely done. Peace. Thanks I did a couple of things that were a little different on this as far as the instruments and the effects were concerned. The major thing was the treatment of the piano. I used the detune plug in on it almost by accident and really liked the effect so much that I decided that we needed a solo with that sound on it. Probably drove the folks with perfect pitch crazy.
