Description
Thanks to my spouse, Doadars Aunt (aka Marily) for assistance with vocals.

Remake of my original MacJams post! Here's a better description:

Wild Uinta

Dusk.
Peace in quiet motion.
Uncertain winds.
Blackness swiftly encroaches.
Heavy staccato drops pound the thick bed of needles.
Flash-blink.
Bone shuddering explosions.
Torrents, twisting trunks, tearing branches.
Ominous rage flies quickly away leaving crisp quiet.
Wind roars through pines in passes far away.
Peace in quiet motion resumes as it were there all along.

Lyrics
Wind shaped tree
Stones, cold, gray

Past golden sun
Shade blends dank.

All dark, cold.
Sharp starlight

Flecks in black lake
Shiver with a sigh.

Very nice blend!
This is great! In parts a little King Crimsonish and in others more like Knopfler - so really I shouldn't compare it - a unique mix. I will have to check out more.

Great production
Excellent sounds and brilliant arrangement - you never know what's coming round the corner! The dynamics are great; the track shifts and turns, pulling you along with it. When the vocal arrives (fantastic job by Marily, by the way) you are stopped, mesmerized by the singing, and the lyrics. This is a very cool piece of music. Nicely done. Peace.

I don't remember...
...this one Doug. Perhaps you pulled it before I had a chance to hear it.

I agree with the King Crimson comparison. Very cool and full of surprizes. So this is where it all began!

Thanks for sharing this friend!

Be well!

Great production
I don't remember the original Doug, but this is amazing. Fantastic sounds - Moody Blues feel works for me. Really well done.

what an awesome space jam. lots of really neat changes at the beginning and then it turns into a really beautiful Low kind of song. this is a really tremendous piece, great job. harmonies sound great, with just the right touch of humanity.

I appreciate original music. I've played guitar a bit for 30 years. Singing is fun! MacJams helps a lot! Good friends, good music. ... [see more]
