Description

Dewayne Brewster and Lavon Hickey were the founding members of the hillbilly/punk band HillBilly Gut. They never performed outside of their hometown and were therefore instrumental in not slowing the spread of "punkmania" across America.
An interview from their hometown newspaper, The Haybailer National News follows.

HB: So fellas, I understand you got a new song for us ... hope it's an Earl Scruggs tribute .. you guys do those real good.

Dewey: Well we gonna give this here punk thing a run we recon..

Lavon: Yeah we write drunk alot ... punk rhymes with drunk so we thought .. why not?
