Description
Lyrics, vocal music and vocals: Alannah
All the rest: Dirigent

I tried a chary instrumental arrangement in order to support - or at least not to destroy - the intensity of Alannah's great vocals

Lyrics
Lyrics by Alannah:

Come dry your tears
Smile again love
I’m only a whisper away
Near the dusk of the evening
Just out of sight through the day
Watching you waking and sleeping
Hearing each prayer that you pray
Sending my love to surround you
I’m only a whisper away

Come dry your tears
Smile again love
Remember the good times we’ve known
Cherish the joy we discovered love
That was planted and grown

Your road may seem lonely ahead love
And distant horizons look grey
You wont be walking alone love
I’m only a whisper away

So laugh and rejoice
When you think of me
Look for a hummingbird during the day
It will likely be me right beside you
I’m only a whisper away

cooolness intensified
I've loved Alannah's vox and this set of lyrics from her... and Andreas, you've done a superb job of adding an intense-but-subtle crackling electrical backdrop to this. This almost gives her piece an American Spiritual sound, with a hint of old English ballad. Very nicely done.

wow you two - a new dynamic duo is created (or have you guys collab-ed before?) Alannah's voice, as always, is so depthy and multi-layered, it's amazing. Dirigent is king of - well - everything!

You too huh?
This is an interesting version - you showed great restraint with your texturing - letting the voice take centre stage! Nicely done!
