The tune is all SmokeyVW ... I just did my interpretation all over it .... I should have gone back and played around with the levels in some places ... but usually I just tinker to a point and then post it ... thanks for the listen and the comment [ Reply to This ]

Well, this is unexpected. Glad I found this. Great sound bed (love the bouble bass and the drum sound you've got here) and excellent vocal performance. Love the dual vocals when they come in. Love it.

.. I am a huge fan of multiple vocal tracks ... and sometimes find it hard to stick to just one or two .... I often tend to overcrowd a song with too many vocal tracks .... and jazz is a genre where you do not want to do that ... less is more .... (but I still have a hard time listening to one vocal track all bare and laid out there when it's my voice). Thanks for listening and commenting. [ Reply to This ]

... "wander around vocally" .... sometimes it's hard to change up the melody when I have heard two versions already .... but I always try to stray from the norm and just sing out where the music takes me ... which is usually quite far away from the intended melody actually ....hahaha but I enjoy jazz because it allows me the opportunity to try out those odd "stray" notes which sometimes come out sounding almost flat if they were sung in any other genre ... thanks for the listen and comment. .. yes I purposely try to stray from what is expected on the melody of music when I hear it ... it's what makes it all so interesting for me .... to see how far I can stray and yet still have it blend out OK and not sound like I am singing one thing and the music is playing another .... but also - I didn't want to just duplicate what both you and Bill had already done .... ..Alannah...You MUST be famous?!!?? With a Voice so Magnifik , a Gift from God... You make such a giant impression...perhaps You sing out at places ? I can feel sitting in a great place here listening to this, a glass of wine, lights low & candles on the tables Ppl enjoying themselves so comfortable relaxed atmosphere !
