Description
This is the open to the documentary, "Trafficking in Reality," which explores ethical issues of documentary filmmaking. This is actually a revision of "Amish Landscape," which was posted here last month. Several MJ'ers, including Mystified and ComposerClark, questioned the use of chanting voices in that piece, felt like the voices were out of place, especially in a soundtrack accompanying scenes of Amish life. So, I reworked that piece, took out the chanting, and some of the percussive elements. The result is a somewhat less dramatic, but more fitting piece for the open of the doc.
