Description
KGO is the number one rated talks show in the country. Ronn Owens is the number one rated talk show personality in the country. I was lucky enought to get on his very popular show as a phone in guest. This is about a competition to get on the actual show. There were so many callers that after a few minuets it crashed there system. He said there were 3400 votes. I received a vote, a couple got 3 votes and one I think got four. But the voting just started and again the system just couldn't hold up to the strain of so many voters. Ronn was actually thinking of canceling the show cause he felt it wouldn't be fair. But the show did go on, I didn't get on the show but I thought this might be of interest so here it is . I don't actually get on until the end of the .mp3 file. But I thought this might give you a flavor of Ronn's incredible professionalism and why he is the top rated talk show host in the country !
This was aired Friday August 8th 2008 at 9:00 am. I immediately heard that Ronn was having phone callers on the show when he mentioned it at about 9:00 am. that friday. I pulled over the side of the road and phoned in and was lucky enough to be the first caller. There were 14 callers that made on the show!
