Description
This is yesterdays improvisation(s) mixed with some FX to make up a little ambient story - probably about the Olympics, and especially those finishing fifth.

The GB file consists of only 5 tracks, the fifth containing 5 different FX sounds and the four others only uses 5 keys on the keyboard - the black ones. I am rather lazy I guess, so I just recorded two different improvizations (no post editing!) and doubled them and chose different instruments for each track.

Well, lets see what you think...

Edit: I'm not too happy with this myself, so I'm trying to remix it in a more serious ambient direction (I've changed this to Cinematic Soundtrack too). So look out for the new much improved ambient(!) version...

Thanks Kenta!
Glad you liked this. I mixed it with the headphones on, and when I was playing it to my wife on the computer speakers it was a bit "rackety" (too much "noise"). Still I thought it was nice to post the improv as is. Maybe I'll do a serious remix later.

Yeah, heja Sverige, we need it!!!

This does
have the sound of a Stadium about it and you did a good mix of sounds even to the Oriental notes..... kind of like a commentary, regards M

Thank you Bill!
It was kind of fun doing it, but maybe I sould have worked a little more with the mix. The "guitar" becomes a bit overwhelming after awhile, a few breaks would probably have been nice, and a little less of the noises as well. Thanks for your comment, always appreciated!

Great stuff
After reading your explanation I'm really awed as to how sophisticated this sounds for the minimal tonal material. Great job on the improvisation and the processing.

I went to music class at a fairly early age but I guess I was never really that interested. I played the recorder for starters and then the flute and then for some reason the trombone! I also played in a renaissance ensamble, in long brown ve... [see more]
